The cruise takes place in the clean, mineral-rich fjord waters around Tromsø. Around Grindøya bay and the Rystraumen strait — an ideal spot for setting traps for king crab and brown crab. The deep, current-swept channels also offer excellent conditions for short, precise fishing for Atlantic cod and wolffish.

    Board the cosy catamaran salon, enjoy a welcome glass of refreshing juice or local cider, and hear the plan for the day's catch.

    Hauling Traps & Fishing

    Reach the marked buoys and haul heavy crab traps from the fjord floor together. Sort and present the catch — a perfect photo moment with your king crabs. A short fishing stop for fresh fish or wild mussels from the Arctic rocks.

    Live Cooking Show on Deck

    Anchor in a quiet, wind-sheltered bay. Your chef-captain cleans the crab and prepares the seafood live, using the traditional method of cooking in seawater with herbs, butter, and garlic.
